Emma Willis and Stephen Mulhern are super excited as they chat to new about the very special event they took part in. The presenters worked with the charity Make-AWish and Disney to help seriously ill children, who had their Disney dream delayed due to the pandemic, make their wish of a Disney experience come true.
The Elvetham hotel in Hampshire was transformed into an Enchanted Manor to host 150 families for a magical three-day experience, giving kids the chance to meet their favourite characters.
“When the kids were meeting the characters, you could see their faces light up,” says Emma, 45, who is mum to Isabelle, 12, Ace, nine, and Trixie, five.
Stephen, 44, adds, “Excuse the pun, but if I could make a wish, I’d give the families this every day.”
Here, the pair explain why they wanted to get involved…
It sounds like you both had so much fun!
Emma: We were loving it as much as the kids. They literally recreated parts of Disneyland. There were lots of princesses and characters so the kids could hang out with them and have pictures. There was a carousel, a Minnie Mouse stretch limousine, archery, and a Winnie The Pooh area. Stephen was covered in glitter – he had a great time!
