‘I'm not scared of being caught with no make-up on'

Rochelle Humes is in the habit of keeping it real on social media, often sharing fresh-faced selfies on Instagram. And she’s hoping her children will follow suit when it comes to body confidence. “I don’t want them ever to be hung up on body image,” she says.

The popstar-turned-TV presenter, who is mum to daughters Alaia-Mai, eight, Valentina, four, and 10-month-old son Blake, tells new, “Feeling good about yourself is a mental thing – that’s something I really want them to know. It’s not all about appearance.”

The former Saturdays star, 32, who is married to JLS singer Marvin Humes, 36, admits she doesn’t take her me-time for granted, but tries to regularly treat herself. Whether doing an hour of exercise or running a bath, she says she now relishes time to herself.

Here, Rochelle, also opens up about postpartum hair loss and celebrating a decade of marriage to Marvin next year.

Hi Rochelle! Is there a message that you want to pass on to your children when it comes to body confidence?

It’s great to be healthy, but I don’t want them ever to be hung up on body image. Feel healthy for you and because it’s good for your insides, but don’t be worried about people on Instagram who appear perfect. Confidence and feeling good about yourself is a mental thing – that’s something I really want them to know. It’s not all about appearance.

When do you feel your most confident?
