‘Christmas is such a special day to me'

When we ask Joel Corry how he is, his answer is “busy”. And we’re not surprised. Having first found fame on Geordie Shore, he’s now focusing on his passion for music – and his songwriting, producing and DJing have catapulted him to international fame.

“I’ve just had one of the maddest weekends of my life,” he says, revealing that he flew to Budapest and back twice in three days, juggling the MTV Europe Music Awards with his UK tour.

“I didn’t sleep for three days, but it was a weekend to remember,” he adds with a grin.

Viewers can get a taste of Joel’s demanding schedule for themselves in his reality show Being Joel Corry.

Here, the 32-year-old talks music, love, and his mum’s crush on one of his famous friends…

Hi Joel! Tell us about your show Being Joel Corry

It’s basically like an all-access show, where MTV follows me around. You see me do my first festival since live music returned after a whole year off. We film my family, as well as me at work in the studio. It was loads of fun – absolute chaos but loads of fun. I just hope people enjoy the show and hopefully, people will find it interesting and entertaining.
