Clever cop goes motel to motel in search of perv who allegedly took her

HERO Florida officer Royce James rescued a 13-year-old girl from an alleged online predator who cops said had lured her to an Orlando motel room. The 44-year-old police veteran with daughters of his own wept with joy after returning the teen safely to her grandmother! Here is his story.

When a missing juvenile hadn’t come home from school, I went to her grandparents’ home and learned she was supposed to have gone to a basketball game, but never showed up.

One of her close friends admitted she was supposed to meet up with someone after school at a motel!

I pressured the friend for the person’s name, but all she claimed to know was that it started with a “T.”
