CANINES IN THE CROSSHAIRS!

HOLLYWOOD’S pampered pooches have become prime targets for dognappers, putting their A-list owners on high alert after Lady Gaga’s dog walker was shot four times!

Insiders told The National ENQUIRER stars such as Hailey and Justin Bieber, who adopted a dog named Oscar in 2018, Katy Perry, whose micro teacup poodle is named Nugget, Leonardo DiCaprio, who has two huskies called Jack and Jill, and Kendall Jenner, who owns a Doberman Pinscher named Six, are among the celebs taking extra precautions.

Terrified owners have taken out special pet insurance, while dog walkers across Tinseltown have been told to change their routes, avoid going out at night and watch for suspicious activity, sources said.

“We have a tremendous number of stolen dogs here,” Vicki Siedow, a Los Angeles– based private investigator, told The ENQUIRER. “The animals are literally snatched out of people’s hands. They’ll just grab the leash and run, even in broad daylight.”

Thugs targeted Gaga’s dog walker, Ryan Fischer, on Feb. 24, leaping out of a car as he walked the singer’s three beloved French bulldogs, shooting him in the chest.

The assailants snatched two dogs, Gustav and Koji, and then fled, leaving Ryan in a pool of blood as he clung to the third pooch, Miss Asia.
