Like many, Ryan Gosling, Eva Mendes and their daughters, Esmeralda, 7, and Amada, 5, struggled through the lockdowns brought on by the coronavirus pandemic. “Our kids are young,” he explained to GQ in 2021. “So it was a tough time for them to be separated from other kids and not being able to see family and whatnot."
But now the girls are getting to see the world alongside their famous parents. With Ryan filming a live-action Barbie movie in London, the family has temporarily relocated there and they've taken to the capital like natives. On March 22, Ryan, 41, and Esmeralda were spotted shopping on the same day that she enjoyed a guided tour of local sights with her 48-year-old mom and sister. “During the day, Eva takes the girls all over the city, then Amada and Esmeralda spend some time with Daddy before the nannies take over so she and Ryan can have a romantic dinner or hit the theater," details an insider of a day in the life of the Goslings. “Ryan currently has a nice work-life balance."
