THE LOVE STORY

“Vaneesh and I met exactly two years ago by serendipity. When people told me there were no such things as coincidences, I never quite believed it – until the events of my serendiptious meeting with Vaneesh unfolded! A friend of mine from Mumbai wanted to invite two eligible bachelors from out of town to my birthday party and my first question was, ‘where do they live?’ When I found out one was from Dubai and the other from LA, my intial reaction was I’ll meet Mister UAE because LA was way too far! Neither suitor made it that night, but exactly one week later, the stars aligned during my vacation in Dubai... A couple of glasses of wine down, my friends in Dubai convinced me to attend a house party they were all going to (even though I wasnt invited!). Thank God I gate crashed because that is where I met Vaneesh for the first time. He wasted no time and struck up a conversation. He wasn’t going to let a few oceans dissuade him and found a way to get in touch with me the next day; he tried to make plans but all of them fell through! We finally managed to meet on New Years Day 2014... a coffee turned into a cosmo and my hesitations slowly melted away… before I knew it, I found myself California dreaming!”

THE PROPOSAL

“One year and one week later, Vaneesh took me to my favourite city, Paris, for my birthday. I was touched at how much thought and effort he had put into organising my special day. Little did I know that all this immaculate planning was going to culminate into him proposing... making me the happiest girl in the world by doing so!”
