COPS say they’ve collared a trigger-happy prison guard for gunning down his older girlfriend and her lifelong pal in New Jersey!
Hudson County corrections officer John Menendez, 24, was charged with two counts of murder and weapons offenses after the bodies of Anna Shpilberg and Luiza Shinkarevskaya, both 40, were discovered in separate locations in Newark on the same day.
Luiza was sprawled on a sidewalk, while the accused gun’s cougar lover, Anna, was discovered slumped in the passenger seat of her car.
According to pals, the dead women were best friends, having previously lived in Brooklyn, N.Y., after emigrating to America from the Ukraine as kids.
