Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar, who was affectionately also called Appu by his legion of fans, passed away on October 29 due to a massive heart attack. He was just 46 at the time of his death. His passing away came as a shock to everyone. It was reported that he was working out in his gym when he complained of chest pain. The actor was rushed to Vikram hospital in Bangalore and at the time of hospitalisation, he was non-responsive.
The young actor was the son of one of Kannada and South cinema’s icons, Dr Rajkumar. He’s the youngest of five children born to his mother Parvathamma. His elder brothers, Shiva Rajkumar and Raghavendra Rajkumar, are also professional actors.
