The latest drama surrounding Etta Ng, Jackie Chan’s troubled illegitimate daughter, revolves around a YouTube video where Etta claimed to be homeless and destitute after being cold-shouldered by her loved ones for coming out as lesbian. The 18-year-old, who recently left Hongkong for Canada to join her Canadian social media influencer girlfriend Andi Autumn, 30, released a clip on YouTube in which they aired their woes to the public. “Hi, I’m Jackie Chan’s daughter, Etta, and this is my girlfriend, Andi. We’ve been homeless for a month due to homophobic parents. We’ve pretty much slept under a bridge and other things. We’ve gone to the police, the hospital, food banks, LGBT community, shelters, and all of them just don’t give a s***. So that’s why we’re making this video. We don’t know what to do at this point,” said Etta, who added that they had to read their speech off a script “due to post-traumatic stress disorder”. Andi added that they had tried to seek help from their friends and family, but were rebuffed and told to head to homeless shelters instead. Andi lamented: “They know we will be split up... if we go to any kind of government facilities and no one in my Facebook is going to listen to me and now no one is responding to my phone calls.”
