Mission 2021 @ Retail

As we finally get to the end of a very difficult year, we are already bracing ourselves for the pandemic’s economic impact to kick in with greater force next year. Given this, most businesses will need to reinvent themselves in order to survive and be relevant in a changed market environment. We have seen how the retail industry has begun adapting to changed shopper sentiments and behaviour. Some of these changes may be here to stay and may translate into obvious trends in 2021. Here’s a look at some key trends we can expect to strengthen in 2021.

Logistics and delivery partners enter the eco-system

With more and newer categories of shoppers entering the digital mode for shopping, retailers have no choice but to offer a digital interface, supported by robust technology and logistics solutions.

We have already seen how Amazon has redefined the process of selling and delivering online. It’s only a matter of time before more brands explore smarter ways of shipping and delivering to their customers’ doorsteps. This means greater number of collaborations with last mile delivery companies.
