Costa Rica - The Most Visited International Tourist Destination
UNIQUE TIMES|April - May 2021
The country is very fond of festivals and its people even use religious holidays as an excuse to celebrate. Small festivals take place all year round, but are more popular during the holiday seasons, involving every thing from bullfighting and carnival rides to fireworks, feasts, music, and jubilant dancing.
Costa Rica - The Most Visited International Tourist Destination

A trip to Costa Rica seems to be there on everyone’s bucket list. The happiest country in the world, a paradise for peace and biodiversity, - these are just a few of many accolades.

Costa Rica is a beautiful country in Central America nestled between Nicaragua and Panama. It is unique in the region boasting friendly people, beaches, wildlife, and enough adventures to fill a month-long holiday. It has always been known as a great vacation destination featuring amazing landscapes from beaches to mountains to fascinating rain and cloud forests, along with a varied climate making it the best time to visit Costa Rica. In 2013, tourism had reached an all-time high for this place with 2.4 million visitors.

In general, there’s no real bad time to visit the place. There may be more tourists from December to April, but it is the rest of the year when the country’s greens really start popping. Here the weather doesn’t really play any set of rules. Costa Rica’s capital San Jose’s Central Valley maybe 72 degrees with a breeze, whereas the highlands will be much cooler. The areas in the Northern Plains – the Nicoya Peninsula and Guanacaste, will be drier and hot.

Tourists and locals alike are drawn to Costa Rica’s natural beauty. With over 20 national parks, 8 biological reserves, animal refuges, and protected areas, around 26 percent of the place is protected and the people there are much committed to preserving it.
