The Master Franchise Show 2017 aimed at assisting high net-worth investors and corporates by providing low risk, high reward business development opportunities, and existing franchisors in developing new brand concepts.
The Master Franchise Show 2017 was held on 24-25 June at JW Marriott, New Delhi. It kick started with a welcome note by Ritu Marya, Editor-in Chief, Franchise India & Entrepreneur Media, who also set the tone for the two-day conference. In the first session ‘Indian market opportunity from a global lens’, the speakers discussed how global brands see the Indian market as the expansion opportunity. Dr Jeffery Goh, Group CEO, Morganfield, said: “The partnership between franchisor and franchisee is like a marriage where success of a brand depends on the close understanding and working relationship.” For global brands to be successful in India finding the right partner is important, the panelists agree.
