ROLE OF WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS IN INDIA – THEN AND NOW

In the past women had to face intense gender prejudices, though partisanship exists today also but the intensity has definitely simmered down. When comparing the role of women entrepreneurship in the past and the present, one constant thing is the fact that entrepreneurship by women has the force to create better and positive outcomes for individuals, the environment, society, and nations. Supporting women entrepreneurship creates a multiplier effect in development and addresses economic and social progress by shifting from high fertility, poor education levels, and poor health to low fertility, improved education levels, and better health of the society.
