According to a company statement, the tractor combined John Deere’s existing 8R tractor, TruSet-enabled chisel plough, and GPS guidance system with new advanced technologies that include artificial intelligence and machine learning, allowing it to be operated remotely and monitored in real time via the John Deere App Center mobile app.
The machine required transport to a land and configuration for autonomous operation, which could be done with the swipe of a command, the statement said.
