From growing up in Dubai to making it big in India, Dr. Leena S. is grateful for whatever she has achieved but definitely not content. She always believed that her destiny awaited her back in India as her passion for nail art developed here. A good manicure and pedicure routine was the secret ingredient to her no-stress persona which eventually became a viable business idea. An idea which bore fruits and earned her respect and recognition. Dr. Leena S. aspired for the dental profession to help people but upon the realization that people might suffer from dental ailment only once or twice in a year, she transitioned from being a dentist to being an entrepreneur which eventually led her to establish ‘The Nail Artistry’. She always wanted to turn the therapeutic abilities of manicure and pedicure into a viable business. Her zeal to help everyone and pamper them so that they feel relaxed and good about themselves is what inspired her to set up her first “The Nail Artistry” salon in Kochi, Kerala. She also owns and manages an online news portal that aims to fight misinformation and offer unbiased and facts-based national news stories. Dr. Leena S. is also a successful producer whose first Malayalam web series is currently enthralling audiences.
According to Dr. Leena S, every new idea is met with skepticism and every entrepreneur has to prove that it has merit. Even though, she had friends everywhere, she wanted to start in her hometown where no one knew much about nail spa and where the brand and the quality of services she provided spoke about what feat a focused brand can achieve. This high-risk high reward approach ended up giving her recognition and respect within the industry as the people in Kochi loved what ‘The Nail Artistry’ offered. She believes that the word-of-mouth by her patrons gave the business a real boost which now is bigger than ever and is expanding further.

IN SEASON Chickpeas (GARBANZO BEANS)
Chickpeas appear in early recordings in Turkey well over 5000 years ago. India produces the most chickpeas worldwide but they are grown in more than 50 countries. An excellent source of carbohydrates, protein, fiber, B vitamins, and some minerals, they are a nutritious staple of many diets. The name chickpea comes from the Latin word cancer, referring to the plant family of legumes, Fabaceae. It is also known by its popular Spanish-derived name, the garbanzo bean. Kidney beans, black beans, lima beans, and peanuts are other familiar foods found in this legume family.
