ICONFLUENCE, CEO Lounge’s inaugural event brought ideas, philosophies and experiences of corporate giants under one roof

The Dichotomy Of Change

The inaugural edition of CEO ICONFLUENCE saw corporate honchos from across country coming together to speak about the many changes that workplaces are undergoing. Deepak Yadav, Publisher and Editor-in-Chief, shared that the idea behind this event was conceived when he was having a discussion with a corporate head about diversity at workplaces. That led to the trail of thoughts that whether or not people are really serious about diversity, or is it just a hygiene check? The best example to understand the grassroot reality is to look at women’s career graph post motherhood, which is mostly negative.

Change is inevitable, and with the involvement of younger CEOs and millennial workforce taking over, there’s a visible shift in workplace dynamics and sociocultural aspect. The introduction of artificial intelligence and consumer data availability has become a 360-degree game changer. But is this change good? Or is it better as statistics? Or should we keep evolving our mindsets? Or the progress be limited to the balance sheets? Should we let go of our grip on the world and assist our future generation to strive for progress? “Many of these questions don’t really have a single or a right answer. The answers keep evolving and keep changing. Over the last eight years, at CEO Lounge, we are trying our best to answer such difficult questions at our various platforms and forums. So we decided to get corporate heads together and talk about the theory of change,” shared Yadav at the event.
