The Oberoi, Leela and Taj are voted among the top 20 hotel brands in the world by travellers from across Europe and America.

The Shining Stars

Globetrotters, frequent business and leisure travellers along with Travel + Leisure’s readers have voted three home-grown luxury hospitality brands — Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts and Taj Hotels Palaces Resorts Safaris — as the world’s best, in the magazine’s annual ‘World’s Best’ survey.

Prithvi Raj Singh Oberoi’s Oberoi Hotels & Resorts – a luxury portfolio of 22 properties across Indian cities – was voted fourth. One of India’s largest and most famous hotel chains with nine properties, The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts took the seventh spot. The country’s oldest luxury hospitality brand that owns over 80 properties, Taj Hotels Palaces Resorts Safaris was ranked 15th by surveyors.
