Ducati Takes Motards To A New Level

The new Hypermotard 939 family therefore stands out because of its proportions, ergonomics and practicality, besides being equipped with the latest Ducati technology. When the prototype Hypermotard was first shown at the 2005 Milan show it represented the creation of a new sector, one that bridged the gap between refined sports bikes and minimalist supermotards.

Ducati presented a new and exciting generation of Hypermotards, which drew on elements from the original concept that made the bike unique and such a success: innovation, design, but above all fun in the extreme. And in 2016 the new Hypermotard 939 evolves the concept even further, with its powerful new engine gracing the full range of 3 incredible models: the thrilling Hypermotard 939, the track oriented Hypermotard SP, and the touring-capable Hyperstrada 939.

The new Hypermotard 939 SP is a stunning looking bike that is also a joy to ride. The original dirtbike-inspired look is even more daring thanks to high ground clearance, a high and tapered tail, and narrow sides. These are the design elements that characterise the Hypermotard and which have been created for a motorbike that can be used for urban commuting, touring or for a thrilling day-out on the track.
