Its predecessor, the Land Cruiser 200, was launched 15 years ago. Prior to that, it was first the 60 series that graced our bushveld tracks and deep dongas, from 1980– 81. Next was the 80 series, from 1991–98, and then the 100 series from 1998–2007. Following in the giant tyre tracks of its ancestors, the long-awaited Land Cruiser 300 (or LC 300) is now here.
