Shrugging off the worst of the British weather and looking more and more like the WRC car Jamie wants it to be (sort of), it’s now running way better thanks to the efforts of Shark Performance.
Regular readers will no doubt recall that my Octavia entered this magazine looking decidedly sorry for itself: its paint was flat, chipped and littered with deep scratches; its wheels appeared to have been painted by someone suffering from advanced cataracts; its ride height was vertigo-inducing; and it really was crying out for a service – literally, the poor thing informed me via its dash every time I turned the key! I’ll come clean right away: the paint work and wheels still leave a lot to be desired and will be addressed in good time; but the latter two points have now been well and truly sorted.
