In 2019, we at OVERDRIVE wanted to do something a little different for the Independence quattro drive, stretch our imagination a bit further, elevate our program higher. And to do that we tied up with Sanam, an Indian pop band that was also looking out to create a new music video. Putting heads together, OVERDRIVE, Audi and Sanam decided to shoot the new video in Ladakh as part of the Independence quattro drive exercise.
To keep the boys in good spirits and health, we decided to fly them directly into Leh. Two advantages to this. One it allowed them enough time to acclimatise, and second it also gave us significantly more shoot time rather than drive up into Ladakh all the way from Manali, which would be an arduous journey. And, the boys needed to look their best, even if there were days when they didn’t feel their best.
