This year marks the 50th anniversary of my fascination with drag racing.

During that time I have taught myself to draw, paint and make models of dragsters. In 1975 I left school at age16 and trained as a silversmith in a factory. Subsequently, I learned to do a form of deep engraving called “hand chasing” using a hammer and tools. This experience honed my eye and refined my skills to enable me to go from making terrible glue encrusted models to today’s enterprise whereby I can scratch build complete engines in scale.
