Recording his second win of the 2017 FIAT ETR Championship season at Slovakia, Norbert Kiss displayed fine skills and experience.
Norbert Kiss claimed his second win of the 2017 FIA European Truck Racing Championship season at Slovakia. The Tankpool24 Racing driver, who took a convincing pole position, qualified second after struggling for grip in the Super Pole session. Pole sitter Jochen Hahn didn’t manage to hold on to the lead as he went three abreast into turn-one with Kiss and Antonio Albacete alongside. It initially looked like Albacete would emerge as the leader following a storming start from the second row. Diving down the inside, Kiss found himself in the best position as the race reached the second turn. From then on the race was a one man show. The Hungarian controlled his pace and gradually increased his gap over the pack that chased him.
