The new Solterra is the first electric production car from Subaru and is claimed to draw on the brand’s historic affinity with four-wheel drive to offer outstanding off-road potential.
“Existing Subaru customers can feel it’s truly a Subaru,” the Japanese manufacturer said, confident that its core characteristics will shine through despite the SUV’s close relationship with the almost identical Toyota bZ4X.
