Ray’s previous cars include a customised ’61 F100, a ’28 Model A Ford Sports Coupe that appeared in issue six of ASR, a ’57 Chev sedan, an A Model sedan delivery that was on the cover of issue 20, a ’39 convertible and a beautiful ’57 Buick hardtop that we featured in ASR issue 243.
Six years ago Ray felt the need for a new project to keep him busy in his retirement and purchased this 1957 Buick Century coupe. This car came out of Texas and was registered, but only just driveable, so Ray put in a lot of time and effort to get it running right. He then drove the car for a few years before pulling it off the road for a more thorough clean up.
