Built-in November 1969. this TVR Tuscan V6 is a classic car lover&#39;s dream, and we wanted to capture the beautiful flowing lines in a magazine-style photoshoot; however, the car&#39;s usual home, a suburban garage, didn&#39;t really work as an appropriately stylish backdrop. Ideally, we&#39;d have brought the car into a studio and lit it with a dozen flashes, but we didn&#39;t have a huge studio or a dozen flashes - but, as you&#39;ll discover in this video tutorial, it&#39;s possible to get the high-quality studio car look without a studio.Instead, we can call on two of a photographer&#39;s most powerful tools: Photoshop and flash lighting. By lighting the car with flash, we&#39;re able to overpower the natural light so that it plays a minimal role in the exposure, which gives us a dark, moody look. Ideally, this would be done with a huge bank of flashes, but that&#39;s not an option for most of us - and this is where the Photoshop part comes in. By using a tripod to keep the camera still, we have the freedom to take multiple frames, which we can then blend together afterward in Photoshop. As such, we don&#39;t necessarily need an arsenal of lights to get the studio look; we can simply use one or two lights, and light the car one section at a time over a series of shots.
