WITH ITS ECLECTIC DESIGN, PRICELINE’S MUMBAI OFFICE, DESIGNED BY BEYOND DESIGN, TAKES ON AN HOLISTIC APPROACH, WITH AN EMPHASIS ON COLLABORATION AND CONTINUED LEARNING
MATERIALISING THE FUNDAMENTALS OF AN EMPLOYEE-CENTRIC SPACE

Beyond Design, the Mumbai-based architecture firm, strives to create innovative and unforgettable spaces. Going “beyond aesthetics” is their mantra and the new Priceline office is testament to their mission. Also located in Mumbai, the Priceline office is functional, flexible, peoplecentric and bursting with vibrant energy. The 14,500 sq-ft space in Nesco, Goregaon, takes into account the unique work culture of the technology-driven company.

Priceline.com is one of the largest online travel agency in the USA. The company facilitates the provision of travel services from its suppliers to its clients and enables discount rates for travel-related purchases such as airline tickets and hotel stays. The Mumbai office is the company’s engineering, development and operations center, responsible for the North American travel market.

Since the company is technologically driven and requires frequent liaison with the USA offices, the new space had to take into account specific needs such as meeting rooms for video conference with the USA HQ office. The growing company also needed designated spaces for interviewing candidates. Meeting rooms, therefore, were a defining criterion in this design and build project.

Beyond Design is mission oriented in their work. Irrespective of the scale - large or small, the firm takes an holistic approach, with an emphasis on collaboration and continued learning. For Priceline, the firm translated the client’s vision by building a creative hub where employees can thrive and enjoy working day in and day out.
