Tell us about yourself.
After graduating from the TVB School of Habitat Studies in 1995, I began my career with the renowned architect Gautam Bhatia, who helped me explore various mediums of spatial expression—including interior architecture and exhibition design—which became a key aspect of study for us in the following years. Looking back at my education, I believe learning from some of the industry’s brightest minds, the school’s promotion of free-thinking, and a hands-on approach to finding design solutions contributed to my design approach and thinking. At Studio Lotus, I lead the architecture and master planning initiatives.

A Lighthouse Of Work Worlds
One of the biggest aficionados of colour can be found in Zuffenhausen: Wörwag, a Swabian paint manufacturer that supplies global players worldwide. Companies such as Porsche are amongst its customer base; Wörwag branches can be found throughout the world from China to Mexico. This kind of success story has a lot to do with gumption on managerial level, but also with an excellent instinct for when the famous Swabian accuracy and cosmopolitan outlook are bound to succeed.
Weaving Algorithms Into Architecture
Computational design is not just a digital replication of analog tools—instead, it introduces an entirely new framework for ‘how’ we work.
