When this agrochemical manufacturing company, whose gen-next decided to move locations for their new office from Old Delhi to the more hip commerical hub of Nehru place, had to design their office, there was no doubt in their mind that they wanted an office that looked new age. Being in the agro space, it was also a given that the office design reflected their commitment towards green living and plants were at the helm of the design.
A green wrap around at the entry of the office to larger than life pictures of crop fields to actual indoor plants which overtake everything else. “We worked out a plant centric theme, blending in fresh colors as we went along and created a welcoming and cosy environment breaking up the expected corporate feeling,” says Priyanka P. Mehra, Principal Architect, PS Design.
The idea was to balance between the old and the new while giving a shiny new identity to the company. Care was taken to sensitize the design towards the needs of the older generation too, without compromising on the theme of creating a colourful happy space. To do so, the spaces were demarcated such that the unique identities of the two, blended in seamlessly.
