Musk Deletes Post Linking Trump to Jeffrey Epstein

Tech billionaire Elon Musk has deleted an explosive allegation linking Mr Donald Trump to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein that he posted on social media during a vicious public fallout with the US President this week.

Mr Musk - who exited his role as a top White House adviser just last week - alleged on June 5 that the Republican leader is featured in unreleased files on former associates of Epstein, who died by suicide in 2019 while facing sex trafficking charges.
The Trump administration has acknowledged it is reviewing tens of thousands of documents, videos and investigative material that his "Maga" (Make America Great Again) movement says will unmask public figures complicit in Epstein's crimes.
Mr Trump was named in a trove of deposition and statements linked to Epstein that was unsealed by a New York judge in early 2024. The President has not been accused of any wrongdoing in the case.
