JAEGER-LECOULTRE RENDEZ-VOUS SHOOTING STAR
Jaeger-LeCoultre has unveiled a poetic new interpretation of its Rendez-Vous Shooting Star, a complication which captures the fleeting magic of a shooting star.
First introduced in 2022, it is now reimagined with intricately handpainted peonies adorning the dial.
Activated by the motion of the wrist, a shimmering star darts across a layered dial of sapphire glass, mother-of-pearl and silvery metal, creating the illusion of a cosmic flash. Brilliant-cut diamonds trace its path in glittering arcs.
The watch's heart is the automatic Calibre 734, which comprises 335 components, crafted entirely in-house. Variations include a fully diamond-set pink-gold bracelet and a radiant blue alligator strap.
Price: €93,000 (S$139,450) (strap), €185,000 (bracelet)
GIRARD-PERREGAUX LAUREATO SKELETON ASTON MARTIN EDITION
Yet another collaboration between Swiss watchmaker GirardPerregaux and British luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin, the new Laureato Skeleton Aston Martin Edition is crafted entirely from sleek black ceramic.
Lightweight scratch-resistant, and the watch flaunts the model's signature octagonal bezel and integrated bracelet, which pays homage to the classic 1975 Laureato.
