Eyeing his first win of 2025, Neeraj returns to Paris DL after eight years

After consecutive runner-up finishes this season, Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra will be eager to return to the top of the podium as he lines up for the Paris Diamond League at Stade Sébastien Charléty in the early hours of Saturday (1:12 AM IST).
This marks Chopra's first outing in the Paris leg since 2017, when he finished fifth with a throw of 84.67m as a promising junior world champion. Eight years later, he returns as one of the sport's biggest icons, with higher stakes and a much stronger field.
The Paris meet is the eighth stop on the 2025 Diamond League circuit, which will culminate in a two-day final in Zurich this August.
