ITC Reports 3% Rise in Profit; Revenue Up 9% to 21,000 Cr

FMCG major ITC on Thursday reported a 9.2% growth in consolidated revenue at ₹21,016 crore in the fourth quarter, even as profit from continuing operations showed a moderate growth of 3% to ₹5,155 crore.
The company cited sharp escalation in key input materials (edible oil, wheat, maida, potato, cocoa, leaf tobacco, pulpwood etc.), in the second half as the reason for weak profit growth.
