MUM'S EMOTIONAL APPEAL ON WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN HER DAUGHTER'S 44TH BIRTHDAY
THE heartbroken mum of murdered Middlesbrough teenager Donna Keogh has made an emotional appeal on a painful day for the family.
Donna should have turned 44 today.
The Beechwood girl was just 17 when she disappeared on April 19, 1998, after visiting a house in Bow Street in Middlesbrough.
It is believed she was murdered shortly after but her body has never been found and those responsible have never been caught. Across more than 27 years, her mum and dad, Brian and Shirley, made countless appeals for help in finding Donna.
Tragically, Brian died in July without ever seeing justice for his girl.
Shirley has vowed to continue the fight, and on her daughter's birthday, made this brave appeal to help bring the family closure.
“We just need that person to come forward with the information and let us know where she is,’ she told The Gazette. “To let her rest with her dad.
“He fought for so long for her. I want to do as much as I can for him.
