Adi savours 'special' moment - but won't be drawn on Boro future
The Gazette

CARETAKER boss Adi Viveash refused to be drawn on whether or not he'd be interested in the Middlesbrough head coach role after leading the club to victory over Birmingham City.
Viveash took charge of Boro at the Riverside as Rob Edwards was stood down from his role for the game and granted permission to speak to Wolves over their head coach role. Dael Fry and Hayden Hackney goals sealed a 2-1 win for Boro to send them second.
Asked after if he'd have any interest in stepping up to be head coach, Viveash said: "The only thing I'm interested in at the minute is finishing this interview and going to have a glass of red wine.
"Today is about the players and supporters. Tomorrow, we'll wake up, it'll be another day, life moves on and that’s a subject for the club and the powers that be.
“I'm grateful I was given the opportunity and I hope I took it in the right way. Thankfully we've given the fans a good day at the end of a difficult week. And I mean playing as well. We've had three tough games. There was a lot of tiredness anyway but it was a very, very important three points and that’s the main thing.”
Edwards is expected to be unveiled as the new Wolves boss in the coming days, leaving the position at Boro vacant.
