83 of 165 seats in Pune and 64 of 128 in Pimpri Chinchwad reserved for women

With preparations intensifying for the upcoming civic elections, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) on of Tuesday announced their ward-wise reservation lists in separate draws conducted under official supervision. At Ganesh Kala Krida Manch, the PMC held its reservation draw in the presence Municipal Commissioner Naval Kishore Ram and senior officials. The elections will be held for 41 wards with a total of 165 seats-83 reserved for women and 82 for men.

Court hears clash of claims
