The Help to Grow: Management Course has helped Kelly scale her business

KELLY'S HEROES SOAR AS ENROLMENTS TRIPLE AFTER HELP TO GROW: MANAGEMENT

Meet Kelly Maxwell, the founder of Kelly's Heroes, a tuition business in Gateshead.

Kelly's Heroes provides a bespoke learning environment for children in primary and secondary education, allowing them to benefit from smaller classes and personal attention.

However, Kelly's limited experience in leading a team meant she struggled to scale.

Kelly turned to the Help to Grow: Management Course, seeking clarity on expanding her business and leading with confidence. She enrolled on the 12-week course which was launched in 2021, and is now available at Small Business Charter accredited business schools across the North East and beyond.

Since completing the course, Kelly has seen her business undergo a transformation. Enrolments have tripled, and turnover from the 2023/24 financial year to the 2024/2025 financial year has increased by 49%. She's also expanded her team further by hiring another full-time teacher.
