Zee Entertainment stock drops 25%, lower price band revised by exchanges

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd witnessed a 25 percent decline in its shares on Tuesday following the cancellation of the USD 10-billion merger with Culver Max Entertainment.

ZEEL’s stock fell to Rs 173.85 on the BSE and Rs 173.55 on the NSE, reaching the lower price band as the bourses adjusted the circuit limit downward for the company.
In the morning session, the 30-share BSE Sensex declined 133.76 points or 0.19 per cent to trade at 71,289.89, while NSE Nifty fell 0.05 points to trade at 21,561.35.
