Miliband's vow over net zero crusade
ED Miliband says he's 100% up for a fight with Nigel Farage over net zero - and insists Keir Starmer is behind him.
And the Energy and Climate Change Secretary told this paper his mission was also about cutting people's energy bills during a visit to a solar farm in Hull.
Mr Miliband says the PM backs the net zero crusade and gave a cast-iron guarantee that decarbonisation targets will not slip.
Reform UK leader Mr Farage and deputy Richard Tice have branded the net zero targets "lunacy", claiming they will ramp up the cost of living.
Mr Miliband said: "If he wants to have a fight arguing for expensive, insecure fossil fuels against cheap, clean renewables creating good jobs for the country and protecting our kids and future generations, bring that fight on.
