Hola Thembela, it's been a while since we heard from you. It's a pleasure to have you with us this week.

- Tshepang Mailwane

Having played for Golden Arrows, Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu FC, please give us some insight into some of the funny characters you have played with in your career...

Thanks for the opportunity, my brother. One guy I can think of is Thamsanqa Gabuza. What a character! He was always full of jokes, ha, ha, ha. The one thing about Gabuza is that he was not afraid to call out someone or tease people. It did not matter who it was, ha, ha, ha. Let's say he was out with the gents over the weekend, he would come back and talk about amaflop from the weekend, ha, ha, ha. He would just reveal stories, ha, ha, ha. He would go to someone like Thabo Matlaba and say, “What happened?” Even when I was with him at Arrows, he was crazy, ha, ha, ha. Gabuza is the type of guy you need in the team because he unites the team. He plays a big role when it comes to team spirit.

Ha, ha, ha. That's true. We've had quite a few players in the past who have shared some hilarious moments involving Gabuza.

Adams faces race against time

Jayden Adams' international future hangs in the balance, and the countdown has officially begun. With just one month remaining before Hugo Broos finalises his squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, the 24-year-old midfielder finds himself in a position few would have predicted two years ago. Once a rising star of Stellenbosch FC and a standout performer at the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast, Adams now faces the harsh reality of reduced game time at Mamelodi Sundowns and uncertainty around his Bafana Bafana role. The player who earned his way into Broos' plans through hard work and consistency has slipped into unfamiliar territory at club level, and his national team prospects have dimmed as a result. The Siya crew has been tracking his situation closely, uncovering worrying signs behind the scenes as Adams fights to keep his AFCON dream alive.
