Theft of copper cables delays works to reopen road causing misery for drivers

THE closure of a main A road linking to North Devon has caused major disruption to road services.

The works are taking longer than expected due to the theft of copper cables.
The A388 between St Giles on the Heath and Launceston has been closed since Friday, April 25, for essential broadband restoration.
Openreach said it is working as quickly as possible to resolve it.
