Developers break ground at 150-home development

A MAJOR housing project has officially broken ground in North Devon, with construction underway on 150 new homes in the village of Landkey.

The development, named Tarka Coombe, is being led by Allison Homes South West and will bring a mix of oneto four-bedroom homes to the edge of the village. Thirty per cent of the properties are designated as affordable housing.
The project follows the approval of planning permission earlier this year and marks the next phase in delivering new homes for the area.
