Anglers Paradise records as biggest catfish ever are tempted

THE two biggest catfish in Anglers Paradise’s history have been tempted from the complex’s main lake.
Lee Meakin tempted a huge catfish of 100Ib and Rob Halsey tempted a catfish of 92lb. Both fish have grown naturally at the venue over several years.
Bass anglers are starting to enjoy good fishing from both the open coast and estuary. Anglers fishing a short evening session on Predator 2 boated 20 bass and numerous pollock to 9Ib 80z. Reece Woolgar tempted a fine brace of bass measuring 72cm and 63.5cm and is now in second spot in Combe Martin SAC's lure fishing league sponsored by High Street Tackle.
The current leader is Seth Tuson with five bass for 304cm. Reece has four fish for 263cm and Mark Drewer is currently third with two bass for 122.5cm. The league runs until the end of October and will be hotly contested by club members.
