Thug jailed after naked cocaine bender rampage
Manchester Evening News
|November 29, 2025
A COCAINE-fuelled thug on a 'two-day bender' urinated on a war memorial and randomly attacked cars - all while completely naked.
Shocking footage of the incident in Middleton was watched by tens of thousands of people online. Now Rhys Hicks has been jailed after leaving motorists in 'panic' as a result of his erratic and violent behaviour.
Prosecuting, Jillian Newton told Manchester Crown Court how earlier on June 29, Hicks had been at the home of a woman he knew in Middleton, where she lived with her partner. Hicks began shouting incomprehensibly.
After she asked him to stop, he refused and shortly after became aggressive. Hicks pushed her with both hands, hitting her back against a wall and causing her to fall.
She sought shelter upstairs and suffered a panic attack. In the meantime, Hicks had left.
