Policies being 'repackaged' say Sinn Fein

THE Government has been accused of "repackaging" failed policies for its new blueprint to end the housing crisis.

Sinn Fein spokesperson Eoin O Broin TD, insisted the new plan due before Cabinet tomorrow won't work.

Sources have indicated that the government intends to put renewed focus on the state's Land Development Agency to get social houses and affordable homes built.

Housing Minister James Browne believes 27,000 homes a year can be provided towards the goal of providing 60,000 a year until 2030.
