JAMSHEDPUR: Former chief minister and state president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Raghubar Das's return to active politics has reignited political activity, with former state minister and Jharkhand movement stalwart Dulal Bhuiyan now on the verge of joining the saffron party, people aware of the development said on Thursday.
Bhuiyan's possible shift to the saffron camp, along with his family and supporters, has further intensified the political buzz in the state. On Thursday, BJP MLA Purnima Das Sahu and BJP's Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato shared the stage with Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) veteran Dulal Bhuiyan, his advocate son Biplab Bhuiyan, other members of the Bhuiyan family, and supporters during a Makar Sankranti and Tusu Prav celebration organised by the 'Jharkhand Sanskritik Kala Rang Manch' in the Bhuiyandih locality of Jamshedpur.
