TEHRAN:

The assailant used a handgun to fatally shoot judges Ali Razini and Mohammad Moghiseh in their offices, according to the state-run Islamic Republic News Agency. The gunman also wounded a security officer inside the Supreme Court building in Tehran before taking his own life.

In response, Iran linked the attack to "extensive measures over the past year to prosecute agents and elements affiliated with the Zionist regime, American proxies, spies and terrorist groups", according to a statement from its judiciary.
