2 BJP leaders vie for CCI top post, polls on Aug 12

The Constitution Club of India (CCI) is set to hold its fourth governing body elections on August 12, with this year's polls featuring a direct contest between two Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders, Rajiv Pratap Rudy and Sanjeev Balyan, for the position of secretary (administration) - considered the most significant executive post in the club.
The club, formed as a forum for members of the Constituent Assembly in 1947, is now an institutional platform exclusively for current and former MPs. It has over 1,200 members, including the Prime Minister, Union ministers, and senior leaders from political parties.
Only current and former MPs who hold membership in the club are eligible to vote.
