Villager critically injured in army practice firing in Gaya Ji district

A villager was injured when he came across the army practice firing range situated at Deori Dumari village under Barachatti police station area of Gaya Ji district on Friday evening, police said.
GAYA JI:
The man, identified as Birendra Manjhi (35), from nearby Bighi village entered the restricted area to collect empty bullet shells made of brass. A Medium Machine Gun (MMG) bullet, after being reversed from a stone, hit on the right side of the stomach and critically injured him, Barachatti additional SHO sub-inspector Mantu Kumar said.
